Forgot this tidbit yesterday

I know I babble a lot about Facebook, but I guess this will be a plea to everyone:

IF you have people on your list that are NOT American, can you PLEASE hide them from your uber-American status updates that may/will offend non-Americans ?

I am not saying people should not post what they want to their own status. But please. (And while I'm at it, another collection of "Copy and Paste" statuses that make my head go BOOM.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Well, I guess it's easy to see why I am actually offended AND also one of the reasons why I shall never live in the States. As a person who does not practice religion, I find it dangerous that a country would, well, you know. Separation of Church and State anyone ? My country's been like that for a while and people who do practice religion can do it without worry... so yeah.
I WANT - I WANT - I WANT. Every day you hear people saying what they want and bought. Well, this is what I want, I want all who are sick to be healed. I want children and animals with no families to be adopted. I want people and animals to never have to worry about food and shelter and heat. Most of all, I would like to see our people start to care for one another. Now, let's see how many people re-post this.. I have a feeling I'm gonna see almost no re-post.
Italics by me. I hate re-post statuses, as you probably know by now. But I hate "guilt trip" statuses even more.
Don't care what you earn, where you live, what you drive, whether you're fat or thin, tall or short, beautiful or average, rich or poor, smart or not.

If you're my friend, you're my friend. I accept you for who you are, and that's ALL that matters.

If you feel the same, steal this status from me, your friend, like I just did from my friend ....Keep it moving
I actually agree with the first two paragraphs of the status... but no, I will not spam Facebook with it, thankyouverymuch. I hated chain letters when people did it on paper, and I still hate them now.
Now don't go thinking I am a hateful person or whathaveyou. I love people in general, and I am pretty easygoing. However, I still get a little mad from time to time. This is one of those moments :P .
